Emma's Journey as an Apprentice at Showcase Creative

As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2024, we're thrilled to shine a spotlight on our outstanding apprentice, Emma, who has been a valuable addition to the Showcase Creative family for the past month. Emma's journey into the world of packaging began with a desire for something different and a touch of creativity.

When we asked Emma why she chose to apply for the role of 'Apprentice Account Manager and Estimator,' she explained that she appreciated the variety that the job offered and was drawn to the creative aspects within the role. It's a testament to the diverse opportunities available in the print and packaging industry that often go unnoticed.

Emma's responsibilities as an apprentice include learning to accurately quote jobs for clients, as well as promptly answering phone calls, responding to emails, and ensuring our clients are delighted with our service. Beyond her official duties, Emma actively seeks opportunities to broaden her knowledge by assisting with the construction of boxes, showing her enthusiasm to understand the entire process of the packaging journey.

Having just completed college, Emma joined Showcase Creative without a particular leaning toward a career in print and packaging. Nonetheless, the appeal of a dynamic role caught her attention. Her decision to explore the industry further has not only opened doors to a fulfilling career but also allowed her to tap into her creative side.

When we asked Emma about her favourite aspect of the role, she expressed her fondness for the company, highlighting the warm atmosphere and the genuinely nice people she works with. Emma's positive experience reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring workplace.
