Company History

In 2003 school friends Andy Wreakes and Paul Batey began a graphic design partnership after qualifying from university in graphic design and product design. Their business served customers ranging from local sports clubs to multinational conglomerates. As time went on they found themselves sourcing a wide range of bespoke presentation products to meet their customers’ requirements.

Frustrated by the lack of options for short run presentation products, Andy, Paul and Paul’s brother Jack Batey launched FolderPrinting.co.uk in 2006. Using digital print and proprietary techniques they were able to offer short runs of high quality presentation folders and “paper over board” (POB) ring binders at competitive prices.

By applying the knowledge they had accumulated in the short run “paper over board” industry, the trio expanded the business into luxury packaging in 2011 with the launch of Showcase Creative. Again, the goal was to reduce the minimum order quantities for high quality products, and pass the savings onto their customers.

Today, Showcase Creative is a highly-regarded and award-winning short run luxury packaging manufacturer. Employing more than 20 people in a 6,000sq ft facility, Showcase Creative is trusted by some of the world’s best-known brands and leading agencies.
