Case Study: Adanola – Bespoke Drawer Presentation Box
We recently worked with Adanola on the design and production of a premium presentation case, created as a thank you gift for collaborators they had worked with throughout the year. This marked our first project with the brand, and the brief was for a refined, tactile box that felt considered, understated and premium.
The Brief
Adanola were looking to create a thoughtful gift box, to be sent to influencers and collaborators, as a way of expressing appreciation for their support over the year. The contents was a set of pyjamas and an eye mask and they needed to be presented in a way that felt luxurious and intentional.
A neutral colour palette was key, with a strong emphasis on material quality and texture rather than overt branding.
Our Solution
One of the main challenges of the project was sourcing a material that enhanced the overall finish without detracting from the clean, minimal look. After exploring several options, we selected Fedrigoni Imitlin Tela in Bianco, a textured paper with a subtle fabric-like finish that elevated the entire piece through touch alone.
We produced a plain structural sample early in the process to allow Adanola to assess the size, proportions and overall quality. Following this stage, the drawer depth was reduced significantly for the final production run.
The final structure featured a top tray and pull-out drawer, with discreet functional details such as ribbon pull tabs and concealed magnets, ensuring the box felt intuitive to open while remaining visually uncluttered. A bespoke internal fitment held the pyjamas and eye mask neatly in place.
The Result
The finished presentation cases delivered a considered, premium unboxing experience that aligned seamlessly with Adanola’s brand identity. The textured material choice added warmth and tactility, while the layered structure added interest while keeping the design understated.
Feedback from the Adanola team was overwhelmingly positive, with comments highlighting the quality, attention to detail and overall finish of the boxes. As a first collaboration, the project was a great success, and we were delighted to bring this gifting concept to life.
